This is a melting furnace to pour metal in holding furnaces. The furnaces will be having two chambers, integral side by side. One for scrap pre melting and another for melting and storing molten metal.Thescrap is poured from a elevator platform in the pre heating chamber. This chamber mouth is used as exhaust port also slowly metal will be melting. And semi solid molten metal will flow into melting chamber where metal will be melted for required temperature stored in a metal receiving table where degassing and deslagging is carried out.
