IMS_MYX Series light curtain using a unique simultaneous multi-beam transmit and receive infrared LED light to produce accurate cross-spot, with the ability to detect very small objects. 

This method combines an extremly high resolution with a good resistance in dirty environments. Due to the operating principle its resolution depends on the object to be detected.The wider it is, the thinner it can be; e.g. a sheet of paper. 

The output becomes active if at least one beam between the transmitter and the receiver has been interrupted.
